Surveys

The purpose is to gather feedback, opinions, and information on various aspects of the neighborhood and the HOA’s operations.  It is an opportunity for HOA members to offer their concerns collectively and individually without censorship offering a transparent platform to communicate to management.  All results are made public via the website and provide the management team and committees with assistance with planning and decision making.  It will also serve as a measure of their performance.  The surveys are designed to offer HOA members a more scientific and equitable means to voice for:

  • Community Feedback
  • Identifying Priorities and Concerns
  • Planning and Decision-Making
  • Assessing Satisfaction and Perception
  • Policy Development and Rule Changes
  • Community Engagement and Transparency
  • Conflict Resolution and Decision Support

Surveys offer a balance of input from the community rather than bias or selective community participation in HOA activities and concerns.

Participation in a survey is optional and open to all DWT HOA members.  Surveys do not collect personal information.  If an HOA member wishes, they may provide an email address to receive notification about new surveys or have notification of the results for a closed survey.  If desired, HOA members may simply return to dwtsg.org and check for new surveys or survey results.

Surveys adhere to accepted standardized and valid methods utilized by the survey industry.  All survey questions are checked for validity.  Only surveys which reach a valid accepted threshold will be published.  If a survey does not reach a valid accepted threshold that will be noted under the results page.

Survey Guide

  • Survey questions will refer to positions not individuals by name.
  • When answering a question requiring text, please refer to the position rather than the name of the person occupying the position.
  • Refrain from using vulgar or inflammatory rhetoric in textual responses.
  • Survey results are displayed as graphs and text.
  • Surveys will be conducted once a month to assess management performance.
  • Additional surveys will be conducted as often requested to address the HOA community concerns or topics of interest.

HOA members who have question about surveys may email info@dwtsg.org and one of the group’s members will provide you with the requested information or direct you an established source that can address your request.  If a HOA member wishes to request a survey on a topic or concern, they can email topics@dwtsg.org and one of the group’s members will respond to your request.

Why an Independent group provides management with HOA community wide feedback?

While TownSq does have a survey feature, it does not conform to industry standards and is not independent of the Castle Group.

The unofficial FACEBOOK platform used by some HOA members is managed by an individual, censored and at times creates division within the community. There is a second FACEBOOK platform started in response to the original FACEBOOK group being controversial.

DWT SURVEY GROUP does not offer the opportunity for divisive banner among the HOA community, but rather tries to facilitate a sense of community by assessing its performance and needs.  It is not a social media platform with all of it trappings. The DWT SURVEY GROUP feels this is a more professional approach for the HOA members to provide feedback and establish a better sense of community.  The tools used for surveying (Survey Monkey) are a well-accepted platform for providing valuable feedback.
